tournament for men's top-division European clubs. The tournament was held in Nazaré, Portugal 2019.

Beach volleyball
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two players on a sand court divided by a net. The objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court, and to prevent the same effort by the opponent.
Beach volleyball is a fast and exiting game that achieved worldwide popularity as a summer sport, attracting both male and female fans. It’s an Olympic sport that continues to gain fans.
Here in Portugal you will often see groups of people playing just for fun and enjoyment on the many gorgeous beaches . Its an activity for all the family to enjoy and participate in, watching or playing its a Portucool activity.

The country host several top football stadium across the country giving the fans top facilities to enjoy this very sociable sport. Portugal has a very good reputation as being a strong competitor in the world of football. Portugal have won many international competitions and has become known for its offensive and crowd-pleasing play and is sometimes called Europe's brass.

Golf in Portugal has a strong presence and has numerous courses up and down the land. Of course the Algarve is the most well known as the climate here is never to cold, so it allows the avid follower to enjoy their passion all year long. Golfers come all year to Portugal, with rolling hills and stunning locations with the backdrop of Azul blue skies its must fill their hearts with joy as they step on to freshly manicured and extremely well maintained greens. Hopefully it will produce that most magical round of golf only in Portugal, a country with atmosphere, Atlantic prevailing winds and a large dash of charm.

Exercise in Portugal is very popular and most towns or cities have a varied range of Gyms and health clubs. It's a great country to participate in activities indoors or out especially as the climate is normally kind. Portucool supports healthy activities and as a keen runner myself (Ashley) I'm always looking for other innovative ideas around exercise. What ever your goal is enjoy and keep it varied as this will help keep you motivated. My favourite saying around keeping healthy is mix it up and have fun.

Riding in Portugal is exciting and interesting as the countryside is so varied, with undulating hills to dramatic beaches and forests. Portugal has a wonderful climate making horse riding an idea activity for those horsey people amongst us. In central and northern areas of Portugal you will find lush countryside and rivers to enjoy whilst riding and in the south beautiful beaches and coastal areas to explore. The Alentajo area of Portugal you will enjoy orange and olive groves and a warm dry climate generally a stunning area to ride particularly in the spring.

Around Alcobaça and Nazaré are lots of beautiful and challenging trails. One moment you bike on the high rocks directly next to the sea, the next moment between the rolling field with fruit trees, in the forest or at steep slopes at the mountains till 600 metres height.
The Algarve is also an ideal location for mountain biking with 1000m extinct volcanoes 30kms away, vast natural parks on the west coast and endless dirt roads and singletrack surrounding Lagos.
